This variety is incredibly early and productive with small vines. Literally a mass of fruit by late July! This variety is an old heirloom from the mountains of Pocahontas County, West Virginia and surrounding counties. Vines are semi-determinate and suitable for containers. Fruits are medium sized slightly flattened globes about 4-8 oz. Flavor is good but not exceptional. Excellent for preserving or fresh eating.
