Billings Family Half-runner Heirloom Bean (30 Seeds)

This is a good half-runner bean, with short 5 ft vines and plump pods. Bears from the bottom to the top of the plant. An early variety, at just 61 days from sowing to harvest.I saw a lot of variation in the variety including some tough pods, so these seeds are the result of one season of selection but may have a few different pod sizes. Pods need strings removed before cooking for 30 min until deliciously rich and tender.The variety originally came from Maclyn Powell of Yadkinville, NC.
