This is an excellent hot pepper for gardeners wanting an early and compact pepper plant that produces plenty of heat. The spice level is not extreme like habanero-type peppers but hotter per volume than jalapenos. I like them eaten fresh with a meal or finely sliced to add to cooking. They also make excellent dried chili flakes and great pickles. This would make a great container plant too with significant yields possible in a small space. The plants show some variation and some peppers are a little plumper than others but they are all 2-3 inches long and pointed. This variety is the result of more than 17 years of seed saving and selection under organic conditions by the amazing folks at Adaptive Seeds in Oregon. Fruits mature in 90 days or earlier after transplanting. Seeds produced in Morgantown, WV. Germination 96% 11-13-2023. 30 seeds
