Other: American Water Horehound is an herb native to North America. It is nicknamed Bugleweed because its flowers resemble bugles. The flowers, blooming in clusters down the stem, are deeply lobed and provide nectar for butterflies and honey bees. This plant thrives in very moist environments such as marshes, wet meadows, streambanks, and pond edges, and can even be grown in containers. It is tolerant of clay soil and is resistant to deer and rabbit interactions.
