This is a very unique tomato bearing long trusses of tiny, intensely-flavored fruits. The species is likely Solanum pimpinellifolium vs the standard. S. lycopersicum tomato. The currant tomato still grows wild in parts of South America. These fruits are 1/4 to 1/2 inch in diameter and are easiest to pick by cutting entire trusses with scissors. Looks amazing served like this on a vege platter! Children also love the small fruit. I found the flavor to be exotic and exceptional, very sweet and pleasing but far more intense than a typical cherry tomato. Plants are sprawling and ideal for hanging baskets or containers or supported with a cage. Indeterminate. 50-60 days from transplant to fruiting. Seeds produced in Morgantown, WV. Germination 100% 12-3-2023. 30 seeds
