Peperomia Pixie | 2in pot | 4in potPeperomia Pixie, also known as Peperomia Orba ‘Pixie’, is a small, compact cultivar of the Peperomia genus. It is characterized by its tiny, round, glossy leaves that grow densely on short stems, giving it a bushy appearance. This plant typically reaches a height of 6 to 8 inches (15 to 20 centimeters) and spreads about 6 to 10 inches (15 to 25 centimeters) wide.Light: Peperomia Pixie thrives in bright, indirect light. It can tolerate lower light conditions, but too much direct sunlight can scorch its leaves. A north or east-facing window where it receives gentle morning or filtered light is ideal.Watering: Allow the top inch (2.5 centimeters) of the soil to dry out between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so it’s important to avoid keeping the soil constantly soggy. Water thoroughly when watering, but ensure that excess water can drain away freely.Humidity: Peperomia Pixie appreciates moderate to high humidity levels. If the air in your home is dry, you can increase humidity by using a humidifier, placing a pebble tray filled with water beneath the plant, or misting its leaves regularly.Temperature: This plant prefers temperatures between 65°F and 75°F (18°C to 24°C). Protect it from drafts and sudden temperature fluctuations, especially during winter.Soil: Use a well-draining, peat-based potting mix for Peperomia Pixie. A mixture of peat moss, perlite, and a small amount of sand works well.Fertilization: Feed your Peperomia Pixie with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half strength every 4 to 6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Reduce or stop fertilizing during fall and winter when the plant is not actively growing.Pruning: Regular pruning helps maintain the compact shape of Peperomia Pixie and encourages new growth. Trim leggy stems and remove any dead or yellowing leaves to promote healthy growth.Repotting: Peperomia Pixie has a compact root system and doesn’t require frequent repotting. Repot the plant into a slightly larger pot with fresh potting mix when its roots outgrow the current container, typically every 2 to 3 years……………………….Weather Conditions: Please keep in mind the weather in which the plant will be delivered too.
