This tomato is very early for such a large beefsteak-type fruit. Also, the flavor is very sweet and rich similar to other “black” tomatoes. I found the indeterminate vines to be of average vigor and yields to be about the same as other heirloom tomatoes – not exceptional, but enough for some wonderful fruits sliced on sandwiches. This tomato was maintained for years by John Allen of Cartersville, Kentucky. 75 days from transplant to harvest. Seeds produced in Morgantown, WV. Germination 88% 12-11-2023. 30 seeds
