Green Arrow is an heirloom vining English or shelling type pea. The pods are dark green and measure 4 – 5 inches with 8 – 11 bright green sweet peas per pod. The Green Arrow Pea produces high yields of very uniform pods with lots of twins for easier harvesting. Enjoy them fresh, or freeze them to enjoy later. They are suitable for home or market. Peas like cool weather, and can be spring or fall sown. They have beautiful flowers and are a legume, so they help fix the nitrogen levels of the soil, making it more fertile.
