Amish Paste is an indeterminate heirloom paste tomato known for its sweet flavor. The Roma-type fruit is oval to acorn-shaped and weighs between 8 – 12 oz. It has thick flesh and is nearly seedless, and the plants are very tolerant to adverse conditions. Tomatoes are rich in the antioxidant lycopene and contain high amounts of various vitamins and minerals. They can be eaten fresh, added to salads, or used in cooking in numerous ways such as grilling, baking, or stewing. Tomatoes can be preserved by freezing, canning, or drying. Indeterminate tomato plants continue to grow and produce fruit until frost, whereas the fruit of determinate plants mature at the same time. There are over 7,500 different types of tomatoes globally.
