The Jojoba shrub is native to Southwestern North America and is the source of Jojoba Oil, grown commercially for this purpose. The plants produce 1/2 – 3/4″ oval, acorn-like fruit that contain almost 50% oil. The oil, which is odorless, is used in cosmetics, skin products, and pharmaceuticals, and for other purposes such as cooking oil, biodiesel fuel, and engine lubricant. Jojoba plants feature long waxy evergreen greyish-silver leaves and thrive best in arid desert and semi-desert areas. They are tolerant to browsing by deer, bighorn sheep, and livestock, which may nibble on the foliage. The nuts are consumed by squirrels, rabbits, and large birds. The plants are dioecious, requiring both male and female plants to pollinate the fruit. Seeds are harvested when they naturally fall from the bush.

It’s always nerve-wracking buying seeds because anyone can just throw some random seeds in a bag and call it day, but I can you guy aren’t fooling around! I got these quick. I haven’t planted them yet, but I can tell I received exactly what I was sold and definitely will buy more in the future. Thank you! Keep selling those seeds.
