Other: The Early Jalapeno matures earlier than other Jalapenos and is more cold tolerant. The thick-walled peppers measure about 3″ long by 1 1/2″ wide. They are great raw or pickled, or added to any of your favorite dishes or sauces. They are moderately hot with an SHU rating of 3500 – 6000. Jalapenos are typically harvested when they are green, but they mature to red and can be harvested at either stage. The Early Jalapeno plants are compact and grow well in containers.
