Other: Perilla Frutescens is a very ornamental Asian herb with traditional herbal and medicinal uses. It is the source of Perilla Seed Oil. The Shiso features leaves that are green on the top with purple veining and highlights, while the underside of the leaf is purple. The flowers are pinkish purple and bloom along tall spikes. Purple Shiso is fast growing and can be easily grown as an annual in climates where it is not winter hardy. They are also suitable for container planting.
