– Other: The Trailing Blackberry is native to Western North America. It is a vining shrub with evergreen leaves, fragrant flowers, and delicious edible fruit. The blackberry fruit is aromatic and sweet, and grows to almost an inch long. The juicy berries can be enjoyed fresh, dried, or added to an endless list of desserts or dishes. This particular variety of blackberry is so delicious, it was chosen as the parent plant of both the loganberry and boysenberry. Additionally, the Trailing Blackberry plant is also valuable to many types of wildlife. It serves as a host plant for Swallowtail and Mourning Cloak butterflies, provides pollen and nesting material for bees, and offers a nesting haven for birds and a shelter for other small animals like squirrels and chipmunks. The berries are favored by birds and various woodland creatures.

I cold-stratified these as directed and have been letting mother nature handle germination outside – so far so good! I noticed the first baby sprout yesterday!

Seeds arrived on time, with no damage, and great info for germination, I would recommend buying from SEEDVILLE USA.

Not only did I get my seeds quick, they also sent me wild flower seeds for butterfly’s and bees to eat from. How awesome it that. I can not wait to watch these grow. Thank you so much.
