Other: The Fire & Ice Dogwood is a large shrub or small tree native to Siberia, Korea, and northern China. It features a variety of showy attributes making it a popular ornamental landscape plant. During fall and winter, its bare upright branches blaze in bright red, the brightest bark color among the Dogwoods. In spring, large showy white flower clusters, approximately 2.5 inches wide, bloom and may continue into the summer. By mid-summer, the flowers give way to attractive white ornamental berries that birds adore. The foliage is also visually appealing, with variegated white and green leaves that turn reddish purple in the fall as temperatures drop. This fast-growing Dogwood is deer and rabbit resistant, adapts to a wide range of soils, and can tolerate both droughts and slight flooding.
