Wrinkled Crinkled’s leaves are indeed ruffled, wrinkled, crinkled, and curled. This ‘cut & come’ again cress has an upright growth habit, making it easy to harvest. The plants can be grown in containers or in the garden. Wrinkled Crinkled is slow to bolt and has good frost resistance so can be spring or fall planted. Garden Cress is used like watercress. The sweet and spicy peppery taste of the leaves add taste and texture to a wide variety of dishes. They can be used fresh in salads, as a seasoning, and added to soups or stir-fries. Cress is high in vitamins and nutrients too.
