About this item:
The Purple Prairie Violet, native to North American prairies, is a non-aggressive viola suitable for regular beds, rock gardens, borders, ground covers, or for naturalizing. These plants are deer resistant. The 1-inch flowers resemble little butterflies and bloom in a beautiful violet shade with light and dark veining. Prairie Violets start blooming early in the spring and continue into the summer, with a possible rebloom in the fall. They attract bees and butterflies and serve as a host plant for Fritillary Butterflies.
