About this item:
The Regal Trumpet Lily is celebrated for its stunning, giant blooms and ease of cultivation from seed. The trumpet-shaped blooms are sizable, ranging from 8 to 10 inches long, and each stem can support up to 25 flowers. The petals, purplish-pink at the back and white on the inside, feature deep yellow throats. These flowers emit a strong fragrance and are attractive to bees and butterflies, enhancing any garden setting. They also serve as splendid, long-lasting cut flowers. Please note, as with many lilies, they can be toxic to cats.
The plants are relatively drought-tolerant and feature sturdy stalks, though they may require staking in windy areas. These lilies form bulbs and seeds which can be divided to propagate the plant. The Regal Lily has been awarded the Royal Horticultural Society’s Award of Garden Merit, recognizing its value and performance in the garden.
