Other: Queen of the Prairie, also known as Meadowsweet, is native only to moist prairies of the US. They have become quite rare in the wild due to loss of habitat and are listed as an endangered and threatened species in a total of 6 states. Queen of the Prairie thrives in moist soil and can be grown anywhere it gets enough water. The plants can also be naturalized. The flowers are exceptionally beautiful, with large 5 – 8 inch wide clusters of pink flowers that are fragrant and resemble the scent of lilacs. These blooms are highly attractive to bees and butterflies. In fall, the flowers transform into small red 1/2 inch berries that are ornamental. The leaves of the plant have a unique shape, somewhat similar to a maple.

As always, high quality seeds from this vendor. I’m happy with all the seeds I’ve purchased from Seedville. Not planted these as yet, but in the past all seeds have germinated right away.
Thank you!
