Other details: Envy is a US native soybean that is an excellent early variety ideal for regions with shorter growing seasons. Providing a high yield, each pod contains 3 seeds and grows in clusters, making harvesting easier. These bushing beans thrive both in gardens and containers. They can be enjoyed fresh, as in salads, or used in various dishes such as edamame, hummus, or fritters. Additionally, soybeans can be preserved through drying or freezing for later use. They contribute positively to soil health by fixing nitrogen levels, enhancing fertility. Resistant to common diseases and pests, they grow optimally in temperatures ranging from 60 – 70F. Soybeans can be planted in both spring and fall. They have ornamental flowers and a distinguishing fuzzy texture on their pods and stalks. Known for their high protein content, soybeans have been a staple in cultivation for over 5,000 years and serve various other purposes, including the production of tofu, soy sauce, soy milk, miso, flour, and animal feed. They are also well-suited for storage, with methods such as freezing, canning, or drying extending their usability up to 12 months.

I haven’t grown these yet but I expect it will germinate just fine. Great price. They came packaged in a little bag with a color label and picture just like above. It also comes with growing and planting instructions. The seeds look good, I got at least as many as the description.
