About this item
120+ seeds – Sedum pulchellum, Seastar, 4 – 6 inches in height and 18 inches spread. Known as Widows Cross flowers, they feature a lovely shade of pink star-shaped blooms, massed along arching horizontal sprays over low glossy foliage, forming a mat. This variety tolerates shade and damp locations better than most stonecrop and blooms from late spring through summer. It is hardy in zones 6 – 9 and is a perennial that thrives in both sun and light shade. Notably, it is deer and rabbit resistant and is classified as a succulent ground cover. This plant is easy to grow from seeds and attracts butterflies. It forms a mat and mounding habits, making it ideal for a low maintenance garden. This Seastar variety can adapt well to varying amounts of sunlight but performs best in partial sun. It’s an excellent choice for ground cover, rock gardens, edging, bedding, or container gardening on a patio. These are small seeds.
