Other: The Steeplebush is a native shrub to the eastern US and Canada, known for its orangish bark and bright yellow fall leaves. Thriving in moist to wet soil conditions, it can be found in wet prairies, bogs, and marshes. The plant has a long bloom period from July to September, producing large, showy 8-inch steeples of pink flowers. These clusters of blooms are a source of nectar for bees, butterflies, and other pollinators and serve as a host plant for butterflies.
